Niagara’s Fury has recreated the amazing sights and sounds of the creation of the falls in a “4D” Universal Studios-style attraction. The experience will start with an 8 minute animated pre-show, where woodland characters explain how the Ice Age formed Niagara Falls. You will then stand on a massive platform in the centre of a 360 degree theatre and witness the creation of the falls in 7 minutes! Temperatures will drop 20 degrees, water will bubble and spray while snow falls all around you and the floor tilts and trembles beneath you! Journey Behind the Falls

Located at the Table Rock Welcome Centre (drop-off point for the Yogi Bear™ Shuttle Bus), this attraction is right in the heart of the Niagara Parks at the brink of the Horseshoe Falls. Visitors descend 150 feet by elevator where a short tunnel gives access to two outdoor observation decks and two portals located directly behind the Falls. You can hear the thunderous roar and the awe-inspiring sight of the Niagara Falls. The final observation deck is located 13 stories below the brink of the Falls where 1/5 of the world’s fresh water crashes down into the basin below. This attraction will take about 30-45 minutes to complete. Don’t worry… you will receive a free souvenir rain poncho to protect you from the mist of the Falls. White Water Walk

Experience the power and beauty of the White Water Rapids and see how the deep and narrow Great Gorge was created. Trillions of gallons of water are forced into this accelerating trough of raging whitewater. This long boardwalk is at the very edge of one of the world’s wildest stretches of whitewater about 4km north of the Falls, along the bus route. You will take an elevator down 70 meters then walk along a tunnel that is 73 meters long to the 305 meters of boardwalk. The attraction is wheelchair accessible except for 2 small viewing areas which are reached by stairs. This is one of four attractions included in the Adventure Pass.

Niagara Fireworks and Illuminations

Enjoy spectacular fireworks displays that explode high over the Niagara Falls. Beginning May 20, 2016 until Labour Day there are fireworks every Friday, Sunday and holiday Monday at 10pm (weather permitting). There are also nightly illuminations of the falls starting at dusk.

Skylon Tower Observation Deck & Dining

Whirlpool Aero Car (formerly the Spanish Aero Car)

The Whirlpool Aero Car was designed by a Spanish engineer, Leonardo Torres Quevedo and has been in operation since 1916. The cable car is suspended from 6 sturdy cables and offers a wonderful view of the Niagara Whirlpool which is formed at the end of the rapids where the gorge turns abruptly and the water turns counter-clockwise and escapes through the narrowest channel in the gorge. This attraction is NOT wheelchair accessible. This breathtaking attraction is family friendly and a round trip of 1km takes about 10 minutes to navigate.

Marineland

Marineland is located just 2 miles down the road from our campground. Visitors will enjoy amazing performances by dolphins, walruses, sea lions, and beluga whales. You can also see a killer whale up close! Marineland in Niagara Falls has been open since 1961. There is a variety of rides and attractions including roller coasters, spinning rides, swing rides, a Ferris wheel and the sky screamer ‘drop zone’ style ride. There is food available at the park and also picnic areas where you can relax and pull out your own cooler.

The Welland Canal Centre (at Lock 3)

Get up close to Great Lakes ships as they pass through the Welland Canals at Lock 3. The centre has an elevated observation platform that lets visitors see ships from around the world on their route between Lake Ontario and Lake Erie along the St. Lawrence Seaway system.
